South Florida is extremely well populated for veterans of foreign wars – and MIND & MOBILITY is pleased to lend a helping hand to America’s finest whenever possible.
MIND & MOBILITY actively partners with veterans and their spouses to help them receive the benefits they deserve – and may not even know it!
Some have called “Aid in Attendance” the “Ghost” benefit because so many veterans simply are unaware of it. But pre-qualifying veterans may qualify for benefits, IF they meet the criteria shown below:
- SERVICE TO AMERICA: With an honorable discharge, with at least one day during wartime and a minimum of 90 days active duty.
- NEED MEDICAL ATTENTION: Non-service-connected disability which requires assistance with activities of daily living. Those under age 65 need a letter from Social Security proving a disability.
- FINANCIAL LIMITATIONS: Limited resources to pay for medical expenses.
Please call us at 800.650.5289 and we will coordinate a meeting with an Aid in Attendance counselor!
